EverQuest 19th Expansion announced: Rain of Fear
Sony announce the 19th EverQuest expansion titled “Rain of Fear”. This new expansion plays off the story line of the last expansion House of Thule. Rain of Fear will also introduce a level increase to 100. Will be interesting to see who is the first hard core player to reach 100. Even more exciting then that is the implementation of the new bazaar. Sony announced that a new broker system will be put in place that allows players to to put items up for sale with out having to leave their computers on all night. This is something Everquest fans have been wanting for years. There will also be 9 news zones, 13 raids, 110 quest and 1800 new spells.
There is also talk about a new feature being added to the game that allows you to track your aggro level. So if your wanting to be able to keep an eye on just how much the mob hates you; then you will love this new addition to the game.
Additional reward and titles are being added too. You will be able to gain titles such as Gnollslayer and Gnomeslayer.
No information has been released yet about when beta testing will begin or when the game is to be released but speculation is that the expansion is slated to be released in November.
After 13 years and 19 expansion, I think it’s safe to say that EverQuest is one of, if not the most successful games of all time.
